Haven't tried it again. A bit busy with work atm. Might try it over the weekend.
I turned on 3G and noticed that the call quality improved considerably which surprised me since I am getting most of the time a stronger signal when on GSM mode only. There is a noticeable toll in battery life but I do charge my phone as often as possible so there is no real problem really. Both clear voice and noise shield are turned off.

was doing a backread of this thread and looking at those wonderful posted sample shots of the Hazel makes me think of selling my Wave5253 and get a Hazel...
really rocks when it comes to photos!
great photos, guys! and kudos as well to my fellow Pinoys here!
Hello kabayan!
Did you get a Hazel already? I agree with reeflotz that the Elm and Hazel both have problems in taking low light pictures. I got tired of all the so called smartphones already and am now using the Elm as my main phone. I am waiting for SE to release another decent feature phone with a great camera to replace my Elm.

Waiting for a feature phone too with great camera and video recording capabilities
, If only
put xenon flash on Elm/Hazel it would have been one of the best cameraphones ever released by
. I was supposed to buy c901 but it's very difficult to find one now here in the Philippines which is why I ended up buying Hazel. But still it's a great phone because the price for its feature set is already a good deal and it delivers excellent daylight photos and great audio quality. It even beats the old 7.2mp sony cybershot digicam my sister has in daylight photography

Dont you find texting on the phone awkward? The bottom of the phone juts and and makes it uncomfortable to text

Hi Jojo!
I haven't really decided to get the Hazel yet and in reference to Ree's earlier post, I am also actually looking for the C901. I consider that as the most likely successor to my previous K810i as both are Cybershot and thus, true capable camera phones. When I inquired about its availability from a local SE specialty store here about two weeks ago, the sales guy told me that the model has gone out of production/release in the Philippines already. Indeed, Ree and I would be lucky enough to find one, not a used one, as I prefer a new unit.
I'm not much into smartphones although the current Samsung Wave GT-S5253 my wife recently gifted me looks/feels/acts like one! It actually is a performance hybrid unit based on its new Bada OS and I really find it amazing, save for the AF-less 3.2mp camera (never mind the flash/light).
Before I forget that this is Hazel/Elm thread, and an
at that... and before going off-topic
... some great sweeping shots you got there, Reeflotz! bravo!
