i just started messing with Elves.. they are kind of cool, depending on what you want to do. But man, its kind of complicated to get them all working. I had a good friend help me out a lot with it, and I still am not too sure what I am doing.
its not that difficult, but its also not quite as easy as just uploading a new cam driver file.. thats for sure..
I am still curious to see how this new VDR mode will work.. its very exciting

Well the elf was released
but it did not work with C905 because of it's different EV key pattern. I explained the problem to Nkls (the creator of the elf) and told him how to fix it, he sent me a beta version and I tested it and it works
I'm asking him to make it's public release
...
In meantime, all of you who want HDR should tweak their C905's and apply elfpack
You'll gain much more phone functionality than HDR, trust me

Use v 1.2
The best settings for HDR should be edited in BCFG as:
First camera start: 1000
Init Camera: 2000
Take picture: 3000
Close camera: 5000
Restart Camera: 1000
Enable: On
EV key layout: C905 mode
Step count: 5
