@Ramu;
On a serious note, since S800 full clock goes up to 34000 @ AnTuTu, any clock downgrade might get Honami slower even than S4, let alone Note 3.

WOW!

and the Korean version is only running at 1.8GHz, 500mhz slower than the 2.3GHz Snadragon 800, I think I saw the score of the S800 sitting at around 32K as well over at PhoneArena.
Hardly ever look in this topic, but every time I do pop in there's always some rather interesting facts been thrown around.

the 2.3ghz s800 reference tablet score 32k only in antutu...on par with 1.8ghz exynos 5...
note 3 2ghz exynos 5 octa should score 34-36k
here shows that cortex a15 is much better..much higher IPC....jz hope that final version at least score 34-36k

@Ambivalent_
LMAO
OT:
Better software/ UI means faster and lag-less phones, less so the highest benchmark score holder.
Yes, it does affects it a bit, but we are focusing on the score too much

You cant really compare them in terms of clock frequency. Cortex A15 is a MASSIVE core, it has a much larger pipeline and the IPC advantage per clock is higher than Snapdragons. It was originally designed for servers, not smartphones.
Also i have been hearing Octa is not working properly, it was supposed to work via CPU migration but for whatever reason its stuck on cluster migration wich is inefficent and wastes power
I wouldnt focus too much on benchmarks anyway. Most benchmarks for phones are worthless and the few good ones only give a small glimpse, software optimizations are far more important.

Galaxy s4 is being plagued by severe battery drain & display issues(big ones) on a very large scale... It's all over the net,
quite happy to hear that

!!!
Wow!! very happy and glad to hear this... it made my day
i hope this plague spreads very fast and do some good to sony

seriously????...why do you want the competition to have problems, I'd much rather have SONY fix any problems they have and improve....isnt that how progress is meant to work? not hoping someone else has more problems than you!

With processing power improving more and more the question is, where will people use such processing power on a mobile phone? Last time I checked we do not do 3d modeling/rendering, video encoding/conversion, physics calculation on a mobile phone

So far I can only see this processing power used in photo editing, digital art creation but that's it. Heck even if a mobile phone is powerful enough to do CAD or 3D work how are we supposed to use it? by smudging the screen with our fingers? lol
I wish manufacturers would focus more on camera, music, battery and screen technology, imo that's more important in a mobile phone. Just like the old days when Nokia,

, samsung and lg were fighting for the best camera phones (C905, Omnia, Renoir, Nseries etc...)
I've stopped caring for benchmark results ever since dual core phones came out since they do the job fast enough that you would hardly notice the difference between 2, 4, 8 core on daily usage. GPU and RAM is different since you will still see the difference in the quality of games being brought by mobile phones.
