So can anyone please explain to me how is that S4 with such high AnTuTu score (especially the Korean version) can't manage to record 1080p video @ 60 fps, and S800 (which is roughly on par in terms of AnTuTu) can not only perform 1080p @ 60 fps, but even 4K @ 30 fps. What's the deal with that?

^^ As far as I know it is not only the processor that needs to support the video recording, but the camera module as well needs to support 60fps in order to capture it at that framerate. Plus not everything is measured by benchmark scores

it only shows the computing power, that's it.
EDIT:
To add to that, several specific features also adds to what a processor can do, such as directly decode a specific video format/resolution in hardware (just like what you mentioned s800 supports 4k), hence why benchmarks only tell a part of it's capabilities, and that is also only theoretically, real life usage most of the time differs.

How much is Sony's marketing budget? It seems to be even lower than LG. Today my Dad was telling my Mom that Sony is way behind Samsung and LG and he said 4k as an example. He said that LG and Samsung are going to revolutionize TV market with their UHD TVs but we all know that Sony is the frontier of 4k adoption. LG and Samsung here have ads all over the streets and squares but Sony nothing. How do they think they're going to sell products without consumers knowing that they exist?

S4 would overheat and drain the battery before the recording was done

Encoding and decoding video using the CPU is extremely inefficient. In order to save battery life, those functions are done in a dedicated piece of hardware that's designed for the task. This hardware can't do general purpose computations (unlike the CPU) but they can do one specific task extremely quickly and with minimal power consumption.
Hence, the performance of the CPU has little (if anything) to do with the performance of video encoding and decoding as its a separate bit of hardware. This means that benchmarks won't tell you much.

Unlocked Xperia Z HSPA being released in US this weekend $629, ZL dropping in price to $629 as well direct from Sony.
AT&T will not have any Sony device, phablet or phone this year. Phablet and i1 (aka One Sony, aka Honami) release in US September/October both unlocked.
