I had no compatability issues at all, since the cd had the drivers for xp. I used to record tv soaps in mpeg1, which is vcd quality, I used to record footage off my camcorder in mpeg2 (dvd quality). Yes, you can watch in full screen.

I'm just a bit skeptical about the effectivness of the mercury tv tuner software that is bundled along with it. Also Pinnacle has far better support. You can dld the latest patches, updates etc. off their site. All in all pinnacle is a top notch company, whereas mercury is a company that makes economic and cheap products and not high quality and top class ones.
