Been on the road since 7am, been running hither and thither. Just got back from Middelburg, went to fetch some of the bridal entourage for my buddy's wedding on Saturday (where i'll be bestman). Who knows what my may be concealed inside my dinner jacket

On a hotter note, it was a blistering 38degrees in Cradock today. When i stopped to refuel, i saw a dog chasing a cat... in a hoarse voice the dog went "woof", to which the cat didn't bother to respond... both were walking...

Right, enough with the bullshyte, i've been keeping a weather-eye on Bid Or Buy auctions involving phones, and i must say that they've been selling for good prices. Don't think one will be likely to pick up a cheapie there...

I needed a new small backpack for when we occasionally go into central London, using public transport, to pack the usual brollies, cooldrinks, small purchases, etc.
Of course, being so fashion-label conscious, (sorry for the rampant sarcasm ), when I saw this in a local budget shop, I just couldn't resist buying a backpack brand with such a debonair ring to it...gotta love linguistics..and the Chinese... Nike? Pah!

lol! Just as i finished reading up to here, i decided to pack up my evening, as i was sitting outside as usual, watching an episode of battlestar galactica, then the dogs start going nuts, and i mean the choir of wailing nuts, not one dog on the block quiet. Then the reason for the barking shows up-a dog running by. Calmly, focussed on the road:) almost like the other dogs are cheering him on, like 'you got out? Well we are stuck. You are like, our hero dog! Youre the dog!' and hes like 'im the dog, yeah, im the dog':)

Sitting outside you always see the most interesting things. Tonight not much other than the dumb teen from next door with a friend. He has such a dumb voice! And he is as thick as a wall! So the question, why do stupid people have a voice that goes with the stupidity? Man, the way they portray it in movies is pretty accurate...he should join the mob...

lol @ Wanqa, nice bag! I'm certain you could even put your khakis in there

Friday the 13th is here, folks... Watch out for those nasty black cats, cracked sidewalks, ladders leaning against walls and open brollies...

Sometimes i wish there was an argument for superstition; it neednt even be all that coherent. I mean when there are scientific arguments for reincarnation & collective awareness, what on god's green earth do people worry about walking under ladders for?

According to this site, some superstitions
have their origin in fact, whilst others are mere speculation. "...There are very practical
reasons for thinking twice before walking under a ladder, but a more mysterious
explanation can be traced back to ancient Egypt. The early Egyptians believed that the shape of the Pyramids had a
special power. It was considered very bad luck to break the 'power' of this shape and that's exactly what walking under a ladder would do! ..."
