hi,
just an update on my defective phone. the people at hub greenbelt were kind enough to replace the unit with a new one. one thing i missed though is that my receipt (which will serve as my warranty card) indicates a different imei number from the unit that i have. :=(
so i have to visit them again.
as for those asking help on battery issues. you could try searching the forums for "k700i battery". some people wrote that they charged for a full 12 hours after a full discharge (at least 3 times with phone turned off and light in power save option). they claim their battery last for 3 days.

Pero kung binili mo sa hindi authorized dealer ng
- may bayad. At baka hindi pa nila gawin kung hindi ka pipirma ng waiver (para hindi sila managot kapag nasira ang phone mo habang nasa kanila).
