Guys I have a 4gb Memory stick duo in addition to two Hbh-ds970 headsets.
Now here is something interesting. I am in the Caribbean and I listen to calypso and reggae. I have several calypso's on my 4gb and when I check the space that they are taking up the average is 10mb where as all the other music ( like R&B) on the card takes up 1mb per minute. The calypso's are taking more like 1.5-2 mb per minute on the card.
What can I conclude is the reason for this?

Found out something interesting and thought of sharing it with you all :
I re-flashed my phone again using SEUS.
As a small notice, I used to have Zonealarm firewall, now changed to Outpost Firewall.
I noticed after this change, that when downloading the firmware, when I had Zonealarm installed, it used to finish @ around 60 something percent, and then the initial firmware install starts.
Now with the Outpost Firewall, the thing completed to 100 percent, and is installing smoothly now as I speak.
The question is : is my reasoning correct? Its just an observation...

It has nothing to do with your firewall program, you're using the latest SEUS which is why it goes all the way to 100%. Everyone should have the same experience with the latest version. Good luck with your reflash, it might just be what you need

Am reflashing my phone because am experiencing no response situations (phone freezes when its actually on) and I get restart to improve performance!
I hope my reflashing fixes this, as am the only one experiencing this so it seems
And so I noticed the 100% progress thingy

It is the new update program. Yesterday I did a SEUS update for a friend's new P990, he has ZoneAlarm installed and the progress bar went up to 100% as it should.
I'm puzzled as to why SE can't fix the false update available message unless it also has to do with the P990 fw.

I have just tried SEUS and its updated to the next version. I wonder if the next fw for the P990 is about to appear?
Finger's crossed!
