Look at Nokia 5610 and tell me its high-end. *rolls eyes*

Samsung U600 is far better choice than W910i, too.

im not sure what you mean but 5610 sure looks like a high end to me
with his 3.2 MP and AF not to mention the extremely good MP3 player 2.4" off-boundaries screen and how good the materials its made of its a tough-ass device!!
and im talking from experience (the UI is a bit better in performance and as a whole and the new switching button is just cool)
i actually thought about changing my W850i for one (but in the end i didn't as its still a very good device )

5610 is really good and is one of the best offers for the money out there, but is a mid-tier device, mid-high at most. Compare it to N82 which is a high-end device and you'll see the difference.

agree !!!! N-82 is getting really good reviews!!
nokia has a really good roster of high end devices and i hope SE will ease our pain soon with something worth waiting for just like the PSPhone shown in STUFF magazine to compete against N-81 and upcoming N-gage enabled devices and P5i to compete against the N-95 8gb / s60 touch UI /n-82 xenon flash!!!!!

nneo SE chose another marketing focus and strategy and even if they haven't done that, they don't have the capacity and the necessary money, software and time for R&D to compete with recent Nokia, HTC, Samsung or Motorola offers in the high-end segment. So don't expect something groudnbreaking from them in the next two or three ears, but something which is a little bit behind the competition in terms of hardware, but still carrying the typical characteristics of SE, which we all like.

Unless you can back up this with facts then it means nothing. Back on topic please.

Very Interesting Article with rgds to SE :

Handsets equipped with 5-megapixel zoom lenses may become mainstream in the camera handset market in one to two years, says the Digitimes referring to sources in Taiwan’s optical lenses industry. Currently camera phones with 1.3-megapixel or 2-megapixel (rarely 3.2-megapixel) non-zoom lenses are very popular. 5-megapixel 3x zoom camera phones have already come to the market, Samsung Electronics and Sony Ericsson introduced such phones.

According to the Photonics Industry and Technology Development Association (PIDA), there are two key ways of development for phone camera lenses: precision-molded aspherical glass single lens units or units made of multiple plastic lenses. The second lens type can zoom and is suitable for resolutions of 5 megapixels or more.
