@AndyD777: How do you manage 5 days! I have not managed more than 1 day with everything like data off.
I have managed 5 days once when I did not use it (everything except 3G was turned off). Whith normal use however, i can manage around 2 days.

you will have to download something like bluetooth file transfer off the market to be able to do that.
talking about the market, half the available apps apparently on the market you search for them and they come up unavailable?? strange as the same ones are available on my m8's X10 for example paper toss.
im in uk by the way!

@enroy/malinda, someone on this board got 8 days out of a single charge. I barely got 4 hours on my first 2 days with the phone. 10 hours when I didn't play with it as much but data was on, background sync, gps, and wifi. 12 hours on average with medium use... Light use 2 days.
Take note, 3G, data, GPS, are always on in all my settings.
I found that Juice Defender really helps... even the free version can get me one solid day of use (20 hours) and I do surf quite a bit.
I posted a few apps on my
blog that have extended my battery life from 6 hours to 20 hours. 5-6 days is very doable if you disable data, switch to WCDMA only, never use wifi or gps, lower backlight to it's lowest setting, switch of vibe, never play music/movies/games. and only get a few calls and sms... essentially making the X10 mini/mini pro, a basic phone.
@dancing fate... I'm hoping they make a matte silver battery cover for the Mini Pro!!!
@reallife, yes you can, just get Bluetooth File Transfer. As of now, you can only send, not receive files via BT on the Mini/Mini Pro. This is an Android 1.6 limitation I think. Should be resolved when 2.1 and 2.2 are released as updates.

From stuff I read on the net I had the impression its only the Mini that would have changable colors, that the pro would be only in black. How much do the covers cost? (Just Im expecting my Mini pro in the mail and I know I'd get bored with black quick)

Hi,
I'm going to pick up the X10 Mini Pro tomorrow or the day after. Before I get this (and I WILL be getting this), I'd just like to ask what exactly will be the effect of the 2.1 update on the phone:
Off the top of my head:
1. The screen's full colour capability will be unlocked (65k to 16m)
2. Flash support
3. Bluetooth file transfers
4. Live wallpapers(?)
5. Faster OS performance
What else can we expect from SE? More camera settings etc...
What effect will this have on the battery life? We don't have widespread 3G in my country yet, so data traffic will not be constant.
Cheers

1. Yes with Android 2.1 the Minis can use all their 16m colours.
2. Adobe flash 10.1 only support Android 2.2 but I don't know about flash lite.
