I've completely switched off Google Now. Really nice in principle but I was finding it was chewing my battery big time.

My advice would be to never leave GPS on unless you're actually needing really accurate location data, such as using the sat nav.

GPS can drain a battery from full to flat in an hour or two if you use it.

Personally still could not care less about a SGS4, cannot believe just how fast and smooth the SGS3 is.

I'll probably end up getting the next one though.

Same here, each time I use my GS3 I am just so,satisfied with its speed, fluidity, and versatility, at this very moment my iPad is tethered to my GS3 via Bluetooth and using its HSPA+ connection, the awesome thing is just how efficient the GS3 is when it's used as a Hotspot as well as the insane amount of security it has when it comes to both WiFi and BT tethering, I don't even have to worry about my phone being visible to others when I've activated BT tethering.

Awesome stuff. I see the XDA Thread based on this is growing pretty quickly hopefully I don't get affected, my S3 has behaved so well so far.

EDIT: Turns out that the brick bug only affects 16GB models, not 32GB, so i maybe in the clear, either way, Samsung must hurry with the fix as the 16 GB GS3 is the most popular in Europe.

Yes. Is it included for free when U buy an SGS3? 500 SEK in that case. It would be super! I'll check that out tomorrow.
