@woot

Yes, it is fixed color. But what I ment was that the light source in the room and perhaps the view angle can fool your eye to make the keypad light look e.g. bluish when in fact it is white. Its hard to tell from the pictures (look for your self in the link I provided).

Yes,

I found out from my own sources and its coming around mid of May, thats about 15 to 20 may (in mumbai)

hey gseth..you got any clue of the approx price..the news report said 20-22k..but im hoping its the lower end of that or even lower
and i mean price of a proper legitimate piece..not the grey market stuff..wud be more comforting knowin i have a warranty on a phone released new...and i guess they wudnt even have grey pieces so soon..gues it will take a while for them to get it down..

I got no info on the price, but my guess is it wont be less than 21k - 22k. I ussually book my piece and buy it on the first day. That cost me around 1.5k to 2k more. Also you got and info on whats the memory duo pro availabe capacity. I found out that there is 512k available, but its 4k. And 1gb isn't available here.

@gseth
i hope the k750i will be a lil less then 21..actually it might be 21 or 22 mrp...but private shops like alfa (u might have heard of it if ur in mumbai) sell it for less then that price...for eg.. when i bought my nokia.. it cost nearly 2k more in the nokia showroom than in alfa..and i mean a legitimate piece with warranty and theft insurance n all....

as for memory stick duos..the k750i comes with a 64mb stick....if u goto lamington road im sure ull find loads of memory sticks...also check out http://www.baazee.com (now http://www.ebay.in ).. there are some memory sticks for sale there...both sony and non sony...512 and i think i saw 1gb also..check it out..
hey anyone know what that magic gate thing is for memory stick duos?

Its just the name for the encryption Sony use to protect their data on removable media.

I read on a site the other day (i forget which) that the K750 has a blue backlight. In the pictures they showed it was blue.

But then on other sites it was white. So, maybe theres different colours available ?

The early samples had white backlighting, but since then SE desided to go for blue backlighting. Productionunits will have the blue backlighting.

My theory is that the pictures which show the k750 with a blue backlight are the k750's which orignally had the silver fascia. They must have changed the fascia to black one.. becasue as far as i know the backlight is blue on the silver version.
