maybe a CCD will be better solution in mobile phones, but in other world they are head to head...
but implementing a CCD will require larger space for the camera sensor this will limit other functionality of the phone, so maybe you will have CCD but you will not have WiFi or bigger/louder/clearer speaker, or bigger display
I hope the OLED screens keep advancing to save space more and more, yeh Sony succeded to make a 0.2mm think OLED, this will be very helpfull in mobiles, more things can fit in the same size or can make slimmer phones, not to mention the longer battery life as OLED's doesn't need back-light like LCD...

lol Spot on. Infact I think the K800 was the last time SE had any real thunder to take from Nokia anyway.

Actually, I believe the announcement of the X1 trumped the announcement of the N96 (both at MWC), if all the coverage the X1 received on the tech blogs is anything to go by.
