I've not seen any easy way to close the browser. The only way I know without having to go through a task killer is repeatedly press the back button. Not convenient if you have been browsing for a while.

re: the browser .... hit menu, select "windows" ... hit the "x" for all the open ones. This leaves just the
default home page which can be closed with the back key ..... that's what I've been doing so far !

@JAGUY85 I've not tried any unlocking service myself with the X10 but in the past with other phones I've used davinciteam and it's been fine, but by the looks of it they haven't got an unlock for the X10 yet.

Try System Panel, its an excellent task manager/system info viewer, it can help with simply closing apps that are giving problems, overall though you dont need a task killer, the Android system handles tasks very well on its own.
