@ramu:
I wonder if Honami would feature high speed burst mode (5fps or even faster) like the ones we've seen with high end CS or alpha cameras, since it has Bionz chip in it

FPS rate is nothing if the AF performance during burst mode is inaccurate at best, I'm not buying all the gimmicks that the Samsung and HTC are trying to pull. I do hope that IMX200 sensor to be used on Honami would also feature in-sensor phase detection AF since our community sources keeps telling us that Honami will be a lovechild of One Sony initiative, so going by the initiative I think that the in-sensor PDAF feature we've first seen on NEX-5R and A99/RX1 should also be featured for this exclusive sony sensor that Honami should come equipped with.

Just to be clear, RX1 didn't have on-sensor phase detection. It was only available on nex-5r, nex-6 and a99, at least if we're talking about cameras announced at roughly the same time.
But I sure hope they manage to put those phase detection pixels on that new camera matrix, that would be a great USP for Honami/i1

thanks for the correction buddy, I though it had one, or at least have it enabled since RX1 is using the same sensor as A99
I'll edit my post

Where did the name i1 come from? Is it xr4/5?

I skipped Xperia Z, for two reasons... black is finished from the market ( only white is available ), and a friend gave me S4 as a gift
thought I already didn't like it, specially the part of overheating... there's some nice features but overall it's just overhyped... I liked the hover touch feature being on such high-end phone thought it was originally from Sony ( Float touch ), but Sony didn't take it seriously specially for Xperia Z ( as a weather proof phone )... other features I like also ( but was already used before in S3+Note2 ) like Smart Stay and Smart Rotate and most importantly the customized status bar controls ( which are not a new S4 feature )
What is all this relates to Sony Rumours ?
Well Samsung power came from the fact that Samsung focused on the software side, Sony did but not as aggressive as what Samsung did... thought Sony did it without compromising the weightlessness and softness of their UI, resulting more mature UI than Samsungs...
Even with Galaxy S4 they still have some issues... a very good welcomed feature of 4.2 are the lockscreen widgets... S4 does have this feature but not when you have a pattern or pin secured lockscreen !! I guess Sammy developers rushed the final software to meet the deadline...
Sony focuses more on these things but they sometimes forget very basic and useful features like the status bar controls, restart option in the power menu, and they bringed these basic features late ( like customizing homepages number, and the status bar quick controls ) they still need more customization or even the burst mode in camera thought Sony was the first to have it in the older feature phones ( K750 for example )... some devs already know that Sony UI can handle these features ( as they're just a simple option in XML ) but the stock UI doesn't have an option to change it.. yes for example the number of home pages is just a simple XML value but there's no way to change it... there's some modded UI's that offered this option long time ago... same goes for the quick status controls there's already few mods even for the aged Xperia arc that offered these controls...
They need to concentrate more on this part of the UI, peoples just loves customizing their UI to their needs... some times. I just hope that Sony buy an already available launcher and customize it with their look and use it... they need some thing light, simple and feature.. like Holo launcher.. you can customize even the number of bottom launch bar pages, even customizing each icon to any icon you want still small, fast and light.. not too fancy like some other launchers are ( Go launcher )
One Sony might change this with new UI but I don't think it will be that much of a change, unless they there's something unknown in the horizon...
Next thing, they really need to work on accelerating updates while most users don't think about what android version they're running but a lot are.. and they're affecting others dicision on that matter also
