Hi Folks,
I just update my to R5A17 and I am using the SE PC Suite for Smartphones, version: 1.3.11
My problem is that the m-Router could get the connection but not the PC Suite. The above situation happened when I connected the phone and choose the "Phone mode" and not able to Sync!
On the other hand, when I connected the phone and choose the "File transfer" mode, the PC Suite reconginzed it and gave me the orange color conncetion bar and able to do file transfer.
I tried re-start the pc and the phone and still doesn't work. Can anybody help to solve the Sync problem?
My phone details:
Phone: CXC162058 R9F011
Bluetooth: CXC162058 R5A01
Org:CXC162092 R5A17
CDA: CDA162007/8 R5A16

I had just the same problem. I deinstalled PC Suite, installed again and connected the phone, but I switched it off and on before and the problem was solved. I hope this will help.

i never have problems with reflashing my p990. i dont use pc suite. i only instal symbian drivers then seus and thats all.
i recomend update like this

Are you talking about the sw install requests that originate from the mem stick? If so, then you have to delete all the jar/jad files on your memory stick. That should work.
