That's odd.... you're phones are also off by a minute each.... I noticed this on my 808 and 1020 too. No matter which phone has the sim card in it, they are always a minute off and I have the time auto set via network??? I wonder why this is?

1020 vs 1520:
http://pureviewclub.com/2013/19245
Have to say I'm pretty amazed what Nokia pulled with 1520 camera
@cu015170,
congrats mate, still torn should I get 1020 or wait for its successor
(if you decide to make extensive comparison, maybe you focus on (yet again) Symbian vs. WP). I've played around with Lumia 920, and somehow I'm not into WP, but I like it more and more....
Cheers,
Miki

thanks man, but I don't have a 1020... planning on waiting for MWC and see what Microsoft have in store in terms of camera. Hopefully something based on Snapdragon 805
As far as Symbian vs. WP.. each one has it's strengths and weaknesses. WP has a lot of potential but I think it will take another 24 months to get it up to speed.
Symbian is very mature already.. it works perfectly well for me as a main smartphone. I don't think that I would use it on anything else but the 808 tho.

I agree.... although I hope it doesn't take them 2yrs or by that time they'll find themselves in a very tough spot when trying to compete in the market and possibly even run the risk of being the next symbian

So true... And if it were not for so desperately wanting to use my skydrive account and have manual control over exposures, i would never have purchased a 1020. Having said that, I must admit I am warming-up/adjusting to the new platform pretty well. but I must agree, that if not on the 808, I would not have bought another symbian device if it was just some run of the mill 12mp phone... It being a 41mp over engineered piece of tech ahead of its time, I just can't totally dismiss it quite yet.
..... The 1020 sometimes gets lucky with it's processing of colors....

^ that's beautiful.. very nice. Just imagine what it will be able to do with the Black update, or if you had time to play around with a RAW file.. tons of potential in this one
As far as the 808,.. very few people appreciate what this device really is.. it was groundbreaking, and still is
Glad I am not the only one who sees it that way
As for WP.. I don't think that there is a possibility of it going the Symbian way for two reasons.
First, its backed by the biggest software company in the world, not a hardware OEM that excels in engineering
That means that there will be proper support for it and it will develop nicely. The hard work is done, it needed a little push to get traction, and Nokia gave it just that.
Second,.. the other two OSs are going to hit a threshold in terms of development. There is only that much you can do with the current gen UX, so they are not going anywhere
Yes, apple can add widgets to iOS, google can add tile like experience to andro.. but still.. there won't be any significant developments.
If you really think about both iOS and andro are still based on a UX concept from the 80s.. using icons, sub menus, folders, etc.

I just noticed too that the EXIF data is wrong for every 1020 image I shoot as it reports the aperture as f/22 and not f/2.2 which is no big deal but more of an oversight probably. Either way, I hope they fixed that in the black update for the 1020.

These are shot with the black update

I don't quite understand how these can be RAW since they are all 5mpix shots, but nevertheless .. I like the colors
