Maybe it is about the 3D face recognition.
Sony is supposed to show it at MWC Shangai.

This is old news as it was mentioned by an anonymous source months ago who told us about the XZ Premium before it was officially announced.

The XZ1 and XZs are near identical in terms of internal specs, XZP owners won't mind because of the 4K screen. I think the camera sensor could be slightly updated. I did see a prototype with slightly different design to the current XZ.
Regarding bezel-less displays, you have to consider the compromises of having such a design. You'd definitely lose the selfie camera which is probably the best on the market, you'd add a lot of thickness and so on. I'd rather have high quality hardware than lose it for aesthetics.

i would like to see thicker body, which makes bigger camera module(OIS), and bigger battery, i wouldnt really mind my phone as thick as X Compact(9.5mm)

I guess he wanted to say XZ1 is equal to XZP from inside, not XZs . Except the 4K, it might be better.
Or maybe even SD836.
For 2018, I hope the 100% screen does not turn out to be real.
It would look ugly, hard to handle. Impossible to use cam without both hands.
For me screen/body = 77% is the perfect size.
Also 16:9 screen.
XZ1 can be my last high end phone depending on how it looks.
I'd give up on front speakers and stereo to have 16:9 screen.
If XZ1 is 18:9, I' ll wait XA2.
Helio P30 may be similar to SD660.

My bad for not being clear, lets say XZ1 is like XZP without the 4K screen. I can't talk about prototypes in detail but lots of designs are being tested with some moving ahead and others not. An XZ Ultra that matches the specs of the XZP would look the same but just larger in footprint so imagine how unwieldy that would be, that's why the XA1 Ultra exists because there have to be some compromises.
