As far as the Shellfish is concerned, this is what the Quran says in Verse 3 of Chapter 5 states clearly:
Forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear Me. This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Also your point about Islam being the fastest growing religion doesn’t really mean much to a lot of people. After all, paedophilia is on the increase too, but that doesn’t mean it’s a sign from God or a good thing (I am in no way connecting paedophilia with Islam! I believe Islamic cultures more morally correct than the western world)

Qatar is the richest nation in the world per capita.
Dubai is the richest in regards to business organizations.
Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi are all Oil rich nations.
Brunei, Eqypt, and Turkey are rich because of Tourists.
Please list which countries you think are poor.
The link between Islam and poor nation is non-existant.
As for the richest countries on earth are Christian. If you're referring to America, America owes the world so much money, you can't believe.
It owes ALOT to Saudi.
The UK isn't that rich, otherwise would it need to charge 17.5% Tax on everything?
Think about it.
oh and you need to remember something, you just linked Paedophilia with the religion but then said you didn't... contradictions.

@pleber, Islam being the fastest growing religion may mean nothing to you and many others but it means alot to us Muslims who today face a lot of abuse and false accusations due to a minority of so called Muslims.
Anyway, question is
WHY is Islam the fastest growing religion today?
Answer is because it preaches a lot of benefits for mankind and a religion meaning Peace does exactly that.
Thanks to the world media, the word Islam has reached every household in the world and this is one reason for the religions increase today. The media thinks it is causing damage to the faith but thanks to Almighty Allah it has much better effects. Many many converted to Islam after 9/11 because they did vast research on the religion and Allah Almighty the creator of mankind showed them the light and the straight path.
