I'm all done now, and i've just checked my firmware version and it reads GENERIC_SO R1FA035. I don't quite know what the SO means, but hey, it seemed faster to startup, we'll see how it goes.
EDIT: landscape media background bug is gone too, and update media is in settings too.

Yeah, I bet we (O2-UK) will still have to wait another week. O2 don't brand the firmwares much, but apparently they carry out a lot of tests to ensure its stable. R1EA037 was never released on O2-UK...We, well I, still have R1EA031.

There isn't anything amazingly fantastic added (Face detection, new menu styles ect ect ect), but everything does seem to flow better, video actually plays back in sych with sound which is great too.
Enough playing now, i've got an English A-Level exam to sit.... later on today

I actual debranded my o2 phone and put the R1EA037 firmware on the phone.
The thing that i lost was the G or E (Couldnt get it to show them unless i connected to the interrnet)
And regardless of if i was in HSDPA or 3G. The phone would only ever display 3G, It would never ever show H.
So i switched back to R1EA031.
So I am happy that they do take a little while to update.
But please dont be long,

Thats very good news if the audio and video are now in sync with mp4s.

hey guys just back on the forum lot of good news i am seeing, there is nothing yet on ADRIATIC but hoping by morning it will be ...one thing i am curious about is the mp4 really in sync .......camera version was not change is there any better pics coming out of this firmware just curious people just curious
