If the article didn't clearly mention jianlin I would have thought it's nightwing behind it.

With all due respect to everyone in this thread I have to agree with badassmam and Tsepz, being a Sony fan myself I have to admit that while Sony is dong a fantastic job with their Alpha A-series and NEX as well as the legendary RX lineup, it was ironic that despite being the company behind the sensors that were used on both GS4 and iphone 5, It was their smartphones that are disappointingly lagging behind just because their camera engineers seem to be messing up with their in-camera JPEG engine that resulted in below par image quality that we see today. I honestly couldn't discern the problem why they couldn't make it right with the Xperias when on the cybershot division the engineers that designed the RX100 could make their brainchild camera outclass Nikon's (a company reknowned for their outstanding JPEG processing algorithm) very own CX cameras with ease. what's more other than Nikon, Sony also produces sensors for both Pentax and Olympus with their highly acclaimed OMD-EM5 that outclasses every single Canon subframe on any ISO benchmarks that we could find in the internet. it's truly a shame that they couldn't got it right for all those years. the news about Honami really got my hopes up as I thought this could be the product where the engineers behind its camera were real imaging experts and not oil painters.
and PS: Samsung MILC cameras weren't bad, but their JPEG engine s*cks indeed, their RAW output were just as good as the NEX's

Quick question concerning the camera capability of Honami/i1/One SONY.
Does it have the ability to shoot in RAW?
Does the camera app have more modes in it, such as Aperature Priority, Manual, and etc? Or will it allow more manual tweaking such as aperature, shutter speed, iso, exposure, metering, and etc?
