Hehe - well, I got home at 5.30pm to a delivery attempt from DHL... they closed at 6pm... I was there at 5.55pm!! Some rather hairy driving to get there before they closed! Worth it! I'm being a bit thick with the music software... not quite worked out how to play my music on it yet (see, I'm not as geeky as Mr B thinks I am!)

Thank you for contacting O2 Customer Service.

I am sorry for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

You are not eligible to renew your contract. You can upgrade your contract on or after 21 October 2005. If you want to upgrade now you will have to pay the line rental charges until the end of your contract.

You contract started on 21 October 2004 and will end on 2005.

I am sorry, Sony Ericsson w800i is currently not available on our stocks. It will be in stock at the end of September.

If you want to discuss about upgrade, please contact our Upgrade team on 0870 600 7102. The team is available from Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm and on Saturday between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Calls are charged at the national rate.

I order my W800i on monday night. By thursday I was worried I hadnt got the credit check so I rang 02 up. The woman on the phone was very helpful and found my details after trying to search a few different ways. She gave me the tracking number. My W800i is now not far from my home, just gutted as Im in work all week till thursday! Trying to get delivery to my work place tomorrow. So if all goes to plan I'll get my phone early next week! Im on Online off peak 1000 (O2 + landlines) £20 per month and the phone cost me £29.99. The woman on the phone did blame the rise up to £79.99 on Sonyericsson pricing. Well I cant wait Ive had enough of Nokia's and have finally got my first SE phone. Cant wait. Best fact for me is pictures taken by my W800i can be viewed on my PSP without the need for a PC. Well it works with my mates PSP and K750 anyway!

Ooh, very cool - my little (well... he's 25!!) brother has a PSP - maybe he'll let me try it!! Is it because of the memory stick? I like the fact that my laptop takes the memory stick... *sigh* god bless Sony!

Got it yesterday. Great phone, for me it does seen much better than the k750. However i do not like that stupid hard plastic thingy thats covering the headphone lead! It keeps falling round my neck and pulls my ear phone from my right ear! Dam thing. Will search for replacement headset. It doesnt look as if can be removed. Dam thing. However extremely happy with the rest of the package o2 sent. I have found the music button much more useful than the shortcut button of the k750, i never found a good use 4 it This message was posted from a WAP device

Yes it on the stick. My mates girlfriend got a K750 last week (they went out to get him a W800i and couldnt find one but 02 offered the girlfriend the K750! Poor guy was gutted!) and recent taken photos can be detected by the PSP, but if you move it in another folder the PSP cant see them. Bit of pain if you ask me. Plus the PSP cant see music put on the duo by the K750. Werid but true. Bit gutted myself about that fact! As my PSP and W800i will have to be kept by my side at all times now along with a large supply fo duo's!! Cant wait to get my lappy with duo slot!

@kachopra

Your within the time to take it back and get the same deal...

There is no reason why anyone should refuse that.... You can cancel the contract in a longer period... They will have to oblidge if you push tyhe contracty the other way... its your right...
