Sonera is the company based in Finland. Sonera is also one of the biggest Telco in Europe. ZED is a brand name of Sonera. Smart partnered with them for value-added services.

@ all....i think globe gprs is free talaga co'z they have their new service which is the globe xtm and saying that it's only 1 peso per send...also, i attend such training and asked about the charges for gprs and the trainor said that gprs is really free except for those services such as mobile camera browsing and the others.

and...u can only access globe xtm service thru gprs......right?

Things which are non-technical about Globe are their location, the unupdated customer service, hidden charges, misleading ads and some attractive frontliners.

this topic has turned into a duplicate of Globe GPRS/MMS/etc - locking this thread, and post here instead - http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=2142&forum=14

Paalala lang sa lahat. Huwag po ninyong i-post dito ang mga settings at configuration ng globe GPRS dahil hindi ito ang tamang forum. paki-check ang post ni arnoldc.

Keep the discussions related to non-technical matters. read dlreyes post FYI

No announcements in Bulletin, Star and Inquirer. Text messages could not be considered as official advisories because it is a value added service and the subscriber is not bound to read it. There is absolutely no proof that you are aware of such messages UNLESS

1. A reply was requested that the subscriber has received the message or
2. That the subscriber has admitted reading such a message (like through this thread)

It's really funny that I have not received any text message regarding the notification... And this is the truth!
