Yup i can use my email client menu on my r520 my pop mail is eudoramail by the way i bought my phone last march 2002

Maybe time u upgraded since u get a lot of new fet. like pictures e-mail and so on.
BTW dont foprget to save all your stuff before u upgrade I lost just about everything when I did mine.
