hey waikincheng,

I have a DRS-11 Datacable, can I also use that to flash my phone?
Noone has answered this question before so that's why I ask again:)

I just had a question, but will those data cables on ebay work as well for the flashing of the t68 -> t68i? because it seems there are quite a few t28 data cables goin' around for about $10 US on ebay. I jus' wanted to know if those will work, if it will damage my phone. Let me know. Thanks!

Data cables won't work, it has to be the T28 service cable..

Hello Everyone....

I have followed all messages....but I got one question still....

I have EricssonClient, the firmware, and T68mc upgraded to R2E already when I bought the phone. When I use EricssonClient to flash my phone to R5D, do I have to purcahse log from unlocking? Or I just follow the instruction of "To make a T68i from T68m need..." from wwwgsmhacking.com.ua/using_tips.php?id=18?

Second, can I use any T28 cable that is currently on ebay to do the flash?

You CANNOT use the data cable from ebay to flash. One of my friends has brought one, and it doesn't work. So don't waste your money.

NO FREE LUNCH, i've said three times in this thread...

To determine whether a cable is data or flash, try the SE software, like Mypictures. If you can use those softwares, you have got a data cable, not flash.

You also say that it's a "Datacable", right? As we said before, datacable can't flash.
