1st the screen from my iMac. (looking a little boring because i'm still a bit of a newbie and have no idea what i'm doing half of the time) lol

apple + shift + 3 (will do whole screen)
apple + shift + 4 (will bring up cross hair so you can do whatever bit you want)

depends what you wanna do..
preview can do somethings or you need photoshop
