I have nothing against nokia i mean i used to but they have released some very nice phones lately i just think that by having additional forums for other manufacturers will upset the balance.
Having the one manufacturer or two including ericsson sets this place apart from everywere else. It is what makes esato unique.

The community here has been built up over time based upon a shared interest in mobile phones in general and SE handsets in particular. One imagines the reason most people come here is because they are interested in SE. If you start adding forums for other brands then you fundamentally change the nature of the forum.

Esato is primarily a SE forum, most people who join are probably joining because they like SE.
Esato gives its members the opportunity to discuss other brands already. As I said before, the only reason to add a Nokia forum would be if Esato were to go from being a SE forum to being a general mobile forum. If that is the direction laffen wants to go in then that's fair enough, but if Esato is to remain a SE forum then a Nokia forum is out of place.

@gov i use nokia, dont like it. se doesnt impress that much, so i turned to another brand. i suggested mainly nokia to integrate, cos its one of the most liked brand and i see it as the right brand to integrate in on esato. i could imagine esato as a general forum. but as masseur mentioned, i told here my opinion about it already, so all my points are in the former posts.

i dont wanna change here anything, the idea, to integrade other barnd(s) is develping imo, not a change.
i do agree with u, that esatos mission is se models and support, all i tried to say is, that i can imagine easto as a general fone forum.
ps: hope u dont mind when i write down my opinion about se in the next future or is it so hard to read critism?
