Right a quick update, the p990i I bought has the "quickshare" logo on the bottom of the flip, and p990i under the battery cover... and masseur has said this means it's a proto
So not the retail version. I also went back to see the guy and he wasn't there, even asked the dude in the shop but he didn't understand what the fook I was on about.
I guess it's a good thing anyway, as apparently the protos have glitches and crash. I was using it in the lobby of my hotel, and a pilot near me was interested in it, was checking it out and it never froze once. Think I may aswell sell it now before I lose out too much, 300GPB seems a bit much for a proto phone for me.
I guess it's best for you guys to hold out for amnesia to find the real deal

They have w810i's pretty cheap and n90's are in all shops but have no idea on price sorry

thats a real shame, but I recon its pretty cool even for a proto its a pretty nice thing to have, anyway in theory if the firmware comes out for the real deal soonish then can't you update making it crash free? That is asuming its a software problem, not a hardware one.
Just wondering, but what did it come with etc?

I'm back in Bahrain.
Nope no P990's. All stores said either end of august or beginning of november. So to sum it up, they're as clueless as we are.
I'm just sticking to my M600 for now.
but good news is that I'm here until August 10th. Then I go to Qatar for 5 days before going back to the UK. So who knows, it might show up.
