i have just done this and got a "please wait" message on my phone so i removed the battery for one minute and put it back in. i then tries to turn my phone on and the phone is just dead. i wont turn on, it wont charge. it is dead.

this sh1t has destroyed my phone

anyone , please, please, PLEASE help

PMSL dude why the hell did you take the battery out??, did it tell you to remove the battery??...if it didnt then dont blame the program for screwing up your phone...blame yourself.
But if the program told u to remove the battery then something went wrong along the way then try re-flashing it again...sometimes that helps bring it back to life.

it wont respond to anything so i cant flash it again

some K800i's do just die and never turn back on... i had one that did that, and had nothing to do with debranding via WOTAN

Not really read up on the k800... but mine is branded by '3'

so... first things first, i'm gonna look at unbranding it, but have heard rumours about deleting the Certificates required to use 3 to its full potention, is this a rumour, or fact? and if its fact is there a fix?

i dont want a phone thats cut down from its would be features.

My K800 from CarphoneWarehouse was already de-branded when it arrived. No Voda logo at all!

However, the audio quality was bad on calls (distorted speaker), so I took it back to a CPW store in London, and they gave me a full Voda K800 with nastyware branding of woe

Looks like Wotan will do the trick - but is there a way to simunlock at the same time?

Be aware that if you do that on a Voda branded fone you'll lose access to some things like Mobile TV, you'll also lose the two Voda Java certificates (not sure what they're used for), and also the green call/red end call buttons won't work (they'll be the SE defaults)...

Hi i got a 3 k800 here in sweden a couple of days ago and i really hate all brands and the "3" under the screen

I would like to use this wotan but i got some questions that maybe some other swedish 3 users can answer or someone who knows thanks.

1. I got a "free msn messenger for the rest of your life" bonus when i got the phone, will this be gone when i unbrand and if so can i get it back?

2. If i start an insurance of 3 years for 30 euro will that cover any damage to the phone even if its unbranded?

3. Can someone list all the 3 futures that is impossible to get back please

4. Is there anyway or anyshop to send the phone to remove that nasty 3 mark under the screen?

I would really like answers i dont know if im going to send it back or not... im so sad cause of this brand bullshit they put on the phones

No of course it's not...

Credit is bought via PayPal so yes it's safe.

Guys,
ive just been getting a K800i on T Mobile for my daughters birthday. Im currently waiting for the unlock code from them and i also want to debrand the phone.

My question is:- Do i debrand first, then unlock the phone?
Or does it need to be unlocked first/ does it make a difference?

Please get back to me so i can start getting it ready for her birthday.

Cheers
