I'm getting one on upgrade tomorrow after calling the upgrades department. Will let all know which model i get. Hopefully unbranded and unlocked!
If my other 'free' order comes through, I'll let all know also... but i doubt it very much.

Just got to check the VF version:
It's got a VF start-up screen
All the internet settings (for contract and PAYG users) are already in there (along with the PADLOCK, so I don't think youcan delete them. There is also a setting for Business email.
FIRMWARE:
Phone CXC162037 R5A006
Bluetooth CXC162058 R4F01
CDA CDA162008/91 R2A04
Unable to attempt an update as SEUS doesn't appear to be working at the moment.
Haven't checked if it's unlocked either.
EDIT: Just checked simlocks: Network, Networksubset and SIM are ALL UNLOCKED with the number 5.

Now that SEUS is back up and working, can anyone who receives their handset today try updating to see if they get a more up-to-date firmware?

My contract with VF is up so just phoned them to see what deal I can get on a P990i. They are out of stock until later today I was told. Wouldn't even see what deal they coul do me. Told me to phone back later. poor service!
Anyway I also asked could I pick one up from a local store and they said no I have to deal with them.
Is that correct? I doubt it. What is stopping me phoning a local VF store and picking one up if they have them in stock? Would they be able to help me? I'd keep my SIM and number surely?
