is it possible to backup SMS before doing the phone update? I really don't want to lose mine, and have no (obvious) way of backing up.
Someone on here mentioned BluePhoneElite, but it don't see an option of backing up SMS from the phone and that other application (FMA) doesn't recognise the phone when connected via USB cable.
are you using the latest fma beta? update your fma connect to y9our pc suite and mrouter then go to wizard choose serial ports and connect using com3...

Hi!
After updating, I can't seem to add the Ad-Hoc Bluetooth PAN to the internet group. Is it just me or same for you guys? TIA.

Are you using Windows? Why are you using the USB as the M600i does not support the USB Mass Storage profile. Your post is confusing. BluePhoneElite only runs on a Mac.

While we are talking about connections.... when I disconnect (e.g. pull plug from phone that was connected to USB) The phone now asks if I want to turn on Bluetooth ? I don't think it did this before . Not sure why it would want to do this now?
Also when you connect via USb the small globe used to appear on the phone. It does not anymore ? Why ? Am I missing something ?

The small globe means there is an internet connection.
I think it means the m-router internet connection got activated. (btw, after I installed the PC suite, it added the m-router usb connection in the connection manager... but not in the internet accounts).
And the M600 DOES support the mass storage profile! You have to choose between mass-storage or pc-suite connection in the control panel.

Read my post. I asked if you were using a Windows PC or a Mac. The M600i does
NOT support the USB Mass Storage profile under any OS. Being that there is no PC Suite for Mac, Mac users do not have the required drivers to initiate a USB connect. Know what you are talking about before you open your mouth. Second, I verified this via an SE service center. They may implement it in the next upgrade.

Wooo HOOOOO, BBC v.3.37 is now available for the M600i, and it works perfectly with the new R9A FW.
It can be downloaded from the following (you have to register, but it's a great wee forum.)
http://secentral.net/forum/index.php?topic=13088.new#new
I have downloaded and installed it (Voda UK) and it works fine on both BIS and BES.
Please UNINSTALL the original version of BBC and then reload the new version and REBOOT the phone. Then it'll work perfectly (You NEED to reboot)
Thank you everyone at secentral.net, you saved my sanity.

@sapporobaby and space2, I guess you are both sort of right. I'll explain.
The M600 white paper confirms M600 supports mass storage
however that part of the white paper doesn't give the full details
later on on in the white paper it then says
i.e. when, in control panel, you change the USB setting from "phone mode" to "file transfer" only the memory stick can be accessed via mass storage and the phone internal memory cannot
I've just also tested this on my daughters laptop which has never seen SE software
