Thanks but I did it a dozen of times, keeping the on/off key pressed, removing the battery too... I've updated the phone last week.

It's really bad. I cannot believe that I'm the only one having this problem!!!

don't worry mate. the same thing also happened to me. however, if you tap the blank box, the numbers is shown in a sec.. and it's gone again. I think it's another R9E bugs. Hopefully it will be fix in the next firmware.

I have a problem with net pages opened from the RSS feed. After a while of scrolling it gives me an exec kernel error and closes...damn! It didn't happen before and i relayed heavily on reading news. Now the RSS feed is useless and I have to use the bookmarks system again. Too bad. If fix one and break 3 things...now, that annoys me.

Some additional observations regarding the latest firmware:

1. I can confirm lower volume during calls. extremely annoying.
2. good: in landscape mode, accepting a call does not lock up the phone any more
3. bad: when accessing the task-manager in landscape mode from the hardware key, you get a message that says "not supported". This worked previously (although it was messed up graphically).

keep on updating

cheers, stefan

Any idea if the BlackBerry Connect v3.37 still works after the update?

Nope. Doesn't work. Upgraded firmware on 4th Jan. Phone firmware is now R9EA001 and now BB connect won't generate a PIN.

Anubody got any fixes ? Went to Hutch in Mumbai, India but they couldn't help so far. They said BB service is active in my profile but phone is not "latching" on. My GPRS still works fine.

I have a real bad problem with seus.. I couldn't install flash drivers.. How can I do it? can anybody tell me, I'm using r4a002 and want to update it.. I had several tries with different computers.. I did everything like se documents says but I think there is a trick and I don't know it

I did these steps:
- download the latest version of seus
- install seus
- restart computer
- close all programs including se softwares which are listening usb ports or disable them
- connect usb cable to computer
- remove sim card and replace the battery
- connect phone to usb cable with pressing c and hold it
- when windows requested the drivers release the c button
- and when I try to use the directory C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\setup\drivers, windows can not find any driver..

here my problem starts I think

what should I do?

please please please help me

have a nice day!

@chinmul

Sorry, I sorted this out a week ago.

For anyone else who may have missed it, there's a new BBC client out, v3.45. It works with all UIQ3 handsets.

I updated my M600i to the latest firmware. The update went OK but I´ve noticed that my M600i does not receive the SMSs sent from SE web page with WAP and MMS configuration parameters.
I´ve changed the SIM card and tried with other phones and I can confirm that the SMSs are sent, but my M600i (with the new firmware) never receive them. Anybody else has noticed this?
