Hi alex,
OK no problem thanks for the quick response but you didn't comment on the speed difference if any.
Sounds like your N93 needs a trip to the Service Centre just as well you have the N95 now.

I am not too sure about the speed yet but N95 seems very fast to me. It only take about 2 seconds to open the GPS. Will do a test with the N93 tomorrow then!
By the way, I am going to bring the N93 for upgrade on Monday as I couldn't upgrade it myself with my PC!

I see variously that 100-150 countries are available for the GPS but what I cannot find is whether Australia is one of those
can you confirm this (or not)?

Hi alex,
Well in that case you are going to get a big surprise when you get it back as the latest V20.58.0 makes a huge difference all apps start instantly as does changing the screen to laptop mode which now has an immediate refresh no delay. The front camera won't activate on coming out of photo or video mode and start up is reduced to 22 seconds from cold. Plus a few other things, If you want i can send you the Nokia search app the original one that just searches the phone and the Podcasting app that you can download a Podcast over your WiFi and a few other bit's and pieces if you want PM me an e-mail address.
Marc

@alexho. it does say "purchase" on that display so I'm assuming that Australia is not one of the 100-150 countries included?
or perhaps only few of the 100-150 countries included are in fact free? and the rest must be paid for?
The N95 site really doesn't seem to say much about this

yikes! its about the same to keep my
Garmin GPS nuvi 670 up to date and *it* has alot more GPS features and a heap bigger screen that this has!
but I suppose that is only an applicable fact for those that don't already have GPS so its not too bad I guess
