it is supported, though it must be a CID49.

I don't understand your question very well
edit: if you upgrade your EROM cid will not be changed. I recommend you to upgrade EROM with wotanserver

@sebesta: if you have an erom problem you'd probably get a red blinkin light in the IR.
if you get a WSoD........ you get a white screen on your mobile
