yep, if you look at K610, a non-walkman phone, yet it has a virtually identical media player to the W800. Likewise the K800 player is way better than the K750. So it seems that next gen non-walkman phones get the previous gen walkman interface.

And as far as audio quality goes, they all have the same kind of hardware - audio quality is not what differentiates a walkman player from a non-walkman player. It is the player interface that gets the walkman treatment, not the hardware.

WiFi and edge are not comparable. Wifi is wireless LAN whereas EDGE is faster internet comparable to a 128kbps DSL internet or in some situations even 256Kbps.

there's been some comment, I think by batesie, that the media player in the T650i does produce very good quality music. you might want to check out the T650i discussion thread for that...

There are three levels of data connectivity provided over the cellular network (not Wi-Fi) by your mobile phone provider: GPRS, EDGE, and 3G. GPRS is the slowest, EDGE is a big improvement on GPRS, and now 3G offers speed rivaling a home computer with a land-based Internet connection.

EDGE is plenty for WAP internet sites and downloadable content from .

by the time you choose a phone, they wont be on the market any more, and the future models will already be released

just do what i do sometimes, buy a phone, use it very carefully for a few mins, by a fwe minutes i mean like 5 or 10.... if i dont like it, i put all back in plastic, like when it was delivered and sell as a brand new unit, or practically new, you '''can''' get away with saying its brand new though... a lot of people out there do this too, to test if phone is functioning properly...
