N73 has the same screen protection and setup as the N95. If the screen is that fragile then we would have heard many N73 owners complaining about it. But we havent. Unlike an LCD monitor, I think the N95 screen can flex a bit without damaging the display. So as long you dont puncture the protective cover with sharp object, the screen should be able to take some bump (not that I am willing to try). I dont think Nokia would release a screen which cannot even withstand bumps from normal use.

So far the E61i and N95 are the only Nokios with that screen on the outside, The N73's is protected by an outer screen.

when we talk about the 65K, 262K or 16m color; first we will have to understand how these figures are coming out.
65K=2^16 (multiply 2, 16 times)
likewise 262K=2^18 and
16 million=2^24 = 16777216~16 million.
so its basically 65K means: the colour of a single pixel is represented by 16 bits.(like in PC monitor its the high color)
262K means: the colour of a single pixel is represented by 18 bits.
16m means: the colour of a single pixel is represented by 24 bits.(like in PC monitor its the true color)
so more bits means more color:- means more vivid picture, not sharper.
sharpness is controlled by numbers of pixels.
240x320 screen will have more more sharper pics than on a 176x220.

no one ever said it was. its 240x320 in 2.0'' screen vs 2.6'' screen so naturally K800 would have more pixels per inch.

What would their reason be for using the 16 mill screens? Is it really needed? A cellphone doesnt need the best of screens its not really necessary, and in my opinion if the K800 screen (on the eye) can beat a N95 theres no reall point, unless they make the screens bigger.
