sony is thinking all about the money, make a phone with some features, make a phone with others, older phones will prevail!! i love my w810!

yah, anyways great phone, wise decision to place port on the side, if it had a 3.5mm slot it be a true walkman phone and i buy it. Doesn't out do my w800i tho, the torch in the w800i is a killer and has auto-focus!

Correct me if im wrong. But putting 3.5 mm jack is killing
accesories sales
very true, i've brought about 4 handsfree cause i broke them. Nokia, motorola and apple have 3.5mm slots, im just a bit jeolous. its very useful.

Then you haven't seen those Motorola 398 phones or Rokr original same case but the one with iTUnes built in (100song limit); had many issues with 3.5mm jacks being busted. Look around, other than home stereo's and MP3's dedicated - some don't have a slot native - its going away. More power can get through efficiently in other ports; just a hunch.
HPM-83 should solve this as a FASTPort adapter solution.
BACK & CLEAR will be either of soft keys. Don't Forget those A & B Button there; gaming phone fun!
I'm sure that in TXT entry screens the right SoftKey = Clear button. Left will remain BACK OR a MENU key which BACK will be the top of a small list with it listed on the top ie (BACK, Minimize, Forward - web browser, etc). BUT its possible that the RED hangup key is predestined to minimize an app you're in or back on some. I hope that the A & B keys play a more functional role in other apps than the Camera function. Glad to see the camera features haven't been neutured while backlight whitebalance is there for flash substitute.
W810 > I should pickup one of those shortly OR the W610 in its place due to the A2DP that the W810 doesn't have. Its got everything else no?! TrackID music recognition, & Walkman player 2.0 & Picture blogging.
BUT its got W880i keys BLECH!
Decisions for the K790a a backup IF I can rebuild it, and this W910 is growing on me

People look at the bottom left button...it is the C button the only button thats missing is the back button...so why wud the right soft key be the clear button if there is a C button?

had a play at the se store.
the shake music control wasnt working quite well. the rep mentioned one of the phones was sort of working. something more in the firmware to workout.
one cool thing they guy showed was one of the themes which gave a "moon eclipse" on the screen. if you moved the phone around the moon would move around with the sun and it would be possible to make an eclipse on the screen.
he also showed the marble madness game on the phone where you can use the accelerometor to move the marble around the screen.

@oba, I could not understand the 'moon eclipse'. Can you explain a more bit. It seems to be very exciting. Thanx

it was on the standby screen. guess flash theme. it was a black background with a white sun or moon. as you tilted the phoine the circle would move around the screen. by tilting it was possible to "eclipse" the moon and hide it. kinda like a mini standby game using the accelrmoter.
