I got something for the z310 (the phone that is not recognised by esato), if anyone has one then there is a way to show battery level, reception and provider on the external screen.
You need to have the flip slightly open just so that you can get your finger in and on the keypad but the phone must think that the flip is closed i.e. if you press the volume button up or down (left side of the phone), the time should come up on the external screen.
With your finger on the keypad but in flip closed mode, press:
- volume down
- volume up
- any key on the internal keypad
The external screen will show the alternative view.
It's not much of a code but you learn something new everyday. Shame nobody but me has a z310.

yhs i tryed that stupid pin **04*0000*0000*0000 or something like that thanks you have blocked my virgin sim and now i need to phone em up and get a PUK code
Actually, the **04*.... sequence is a shorcut for changing the PIN code, and it does not unlock an operator simlocked phone. The syntax, I think, is:
**04*<old PIN>*<new PIN>*<new PIN again>#
The nice thing with this is that it is universal and functions on all mobile phone brands, not only
models, since it is a SIM card command and not a phone command.
So if the PIN code was 0000 from start, the sequence above does nothing, (or actually, changes the PIN code from 0000 to 0000). If it was not 0000 from start, it will cause the PIN code error counter to be incremented. If you try it three times, the SIM needs to be unlocked with the PUK code.
