Got that 2, once out of three.
It worked the first time in my office, failed and reboot the second time outside and when I tried again outside, it worked.
weird, I can't really see a pattern.

hmmm... i dont understand
all of this taht talked in this therad are P1i bug......
my question is, is this SE P1i Bug (hardware, etc) or is it UiQ 3 bug?
or can i say is the problem are in P1i (hardware) or in UIQ 3? whos fault is this?
plz this make me confuse, because if its UIQ 3 fault, so we can just ask SE to change the UI in the future.
ps: sorry for the english

The majority of the bugs I would say are software related (UIQ3 or Symbian).

Actually the bugs are probably neither Symbian or UIQ but most likely what SE has added on top of these. Remember that UIQ3 phones have more functionality than specified by UIQ3, all these extras are added and thoroughly tested by SE's brilliant programmers
@qaz7d0, can you post a picture of the FM screen? Apparently it looks better than on P990.

@Qwest905, can you show me a screenshot or make a picture of the screen showing this issue!

i'm not sure if sending a screenshot will help .....just when the text message comes in...the time is way off from when my friend has sent it

1. The problem of static noise in speaker mode is also present as in the P990 with the R6 firmware. Happens randomly.
I'm wondering if this is the same effect you get on office phones when you have speakerphone on. This usually happens because the mic is picking up "white noise" and outputting it to the speakers while outputting your conversation. The p900 had the option to mute the mic (soft menu), the P1i should have the same option so try that on the p1i and tell me if the static noise still appears. If it does disappear, then I think it's within acceptable parameters since most phones (even PBX digital phones) display such behavior when the mic isn't muted.

I dont know if its a bug, but it bugs me..
I think its more of an oversight on SE's part.
And that is once you choose a shortcut you cant remove it back to nothing if you no longer want to keep that program, or you uninstall the program, the shortcut Icon stays Until you choose something else.
It cant be that hard to have a remove option to the menu so you can clear the shortcut.

Does the W-lan works fine on ur phones?
Had any difficulties with it?
I cant manage mine to work. Not on a open b network or on my own WPA-Personal secured network with g/b mode on or even if I change my router to b-mode its still the same.
I do get a connection but I cant use it to anything. Not RSS feeds and not Web browser.
In the web browser I can connect to my Router setup page
http://192.168.0.1 but if I try any
www.whatever.com site it just loads and loads but no data transfer is going on.
I read some P990 wlan problem threads and tried some things there but nothing works at all...

@cokeman,
You will most likely need to set it up manually (IP addresses), if your wireless router is Netgear. I have had bad times with that brand of routers.
By the way - it's not a bug...Check connection topics.

I cant even connect to a router thats open and un secure witch a P990 works great at...
