Would anyone know if the Music Player's volume is different for Generic World Firmware vs. European Country Firmware? I know there are laws regulating the maximum volume like in the iPod. I have the Germany firmware and I find the volume much too low despite using in-ear headphones or the Sony bluetooth 970's.

When you updated using Davinci does your phone now display both your original CDA and the new World1 CDA ?

I updated with Davinci last night and mine now shows both CDA's and SEUS still says I don't need the new firmware ?

Also, how much credit on Davinci did you use to do this ? Some people on here say it is 20 Euro's but it seems to be letting me do this with only 10 euro's on my account and I'm wondering if that is the problem..

Hi,

the 2 CDA lines were an early problem of the davinci client. I had them and got it fixed - but it took some time for the davinci support team. But it was a P990 CDA line together with P1 WG1 - so a totally mess.

I flashed 2 phone during the last few days and have always been billed EUR 20,- and got only 1 CDA line.

You have to choose "Software Update PDA" and under advanced options only "Finalization" should be selected. Is this what you did?

i emailed them, the said 10euro, but it actually used 20 euro

the method i used was a complete firmware flash to world 1 so the davici client put the whole world 1 firmare on

once that was done i connected to seus and did that update

all went ok, took about half an hour!

Thanks - so does the screen have an option for a complete firmware flash ? Don't suppose you remember which option it is that you selected do you as I want to make sure I don't select the wrong field.

In the meantime I'm currently performing a normal World1 flash with just the 'Finalization' option enabled..

Thanks guys,

It has now worked. However, I'm not sure what has fixed it. All I did was start again with the upgrade and also make sure I had 20 Euro instead of 10 Euro on my account.

But anyway - at least it has worked and I'm now downloading from SEUS the new firmware.
