Hi Nipsen.
I think my comments as to the rather shoddy build quality of

products is a fair assesment of the situation, as to "want to complain about something you have no knowledge about" you assume too much I am afraid
I guess somtimes people dont think!
..your words..

i very much agree!! since the beginning, i wish for a p990 with the semi qwerty keyboard, a aluminum facia, n it's well answered!

after a year of M600i, have they improved the UI? re-organized the settings? improved the speed? solved the keypad problem? made single-handed usage easier? (a lot of touch screen devices have d-pad/ joystick) improved email support so that it crashes less? have they even attempted to make those icons on the screen more friendly to fingers? (on w960i yes, not on P1i, that's a bit too late isn't it?)
the problem is that the P1i doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Messaging is not easy thanks to the slow UI, unstable Email support, the below average keypad plus the lack of T9 choice if one uses to type single handedly with the 3x4 buttons in the middle. (imagine typing Q&A with your left hand)
build, music, browser and camera work well for me; but they can't make up for the Messaging and UI glitch.
just for your rference, the MB review was sent off to SE PR before publishing, and the representative actually said that MB was already being "easy on it"

And it's no problem writing a review which is your personal opinion and personal experience with a mobile phone. That's useful, if it's done well, and I don't think anyone really has a problem with reviewing a mobile phone in that way.
In return, I reserve the right to say what I think about how useful that kind of writing is when it's supposed to go in, say, a bug- list in the p1 wiki, where maybe we need something a bit more specific and detailed. Even though it admittedly concerns itself with the particular issues you and others keep referring to.
Or is that too much to ask?

@mweb6161
Sorry but i don't get it you complain that i keep mentioning the P990 and then do exactly that for me. Also i don't see reporting faults or problems as slagging off either. Slagging off is making things up which obviously i have no need to do but in the same vain as your excellent post.
If i had a pound for every really good P990 I'd still be skint!! LOL
Also with all due respect please don't try and tell me what i should or shouldn't do as to put it bluntly that is just not your call to make not now not ever. At least not on this Forum maybe over @MR you can but not here as here you ae no more or less than any one else just a ordinary member. So please try and behave in a manor fitting with your age and supposed intellect and refrain from these unnecessary and uncalled for type of comments, as all they serve to do is make you look petty and vindictive which really isn't a good look for you.
Marc

Now now were all gents here.
My last few phones have included the N95, N93I and P990 and im surrently using the P1.
I think all things considered, the price, the functionlity you cant go wrong.
The E90 has some better features like VGA video as well as the nice S60 browser but it doesnt appeal to as many as the p1 will do becasue of its size. Its like the N93 range - only a certain fraction will ever buy those types. The E90 has a great big screen for browsing but its hassle navigating as a concequence from top to bottom of page in quick time.

I dont think P1i appeals to the masses either as it is unconventional, has quirky keypad, no navi-pad and no select keys.

The sure thing, is that we--> the users of M600, can feel that we have an upgrade of the best phone ever in the market !
All the users will need about 2-3 weeks to get used of the phone, as it is much different than the other ones. However when you get used to it, there is no way back...

No it isn't!
I'd say the more popular definition of "slagging off" is just being persistently negative and critical about something (usually in a fairly hostile manner), without allowing for any kind of balanced view of the positives. Whether that applies to what you do, day in day out on this forum, is something you'll have to decide for yourself.
