In that case it doesn't sound it's meant to be there. I'd suggest sending it back as it's got a manufacturing/production fault. You might not get a replacement for a while though. I'm waiting for Vodafone to get new stock in for a replacement for my K850i due to a firmware fault.

See from this photo the 'white' when i apply the tinyest pressure to the glass screen, this effect also happens if i very gently apply pressure to the opposite top left hand side of the screen. When i press the right soft key this becomes more visable.
Not the greatest photo i know

Also one other thing i've noticed is that the flash seems to need warmed up...if i take a photo in relatively poor light the first few photo's are always nigh on black and the flash seems very weak, then after trying again it will flash properly?? is this a defect on mine or something im not doing correct??

Excuse my utterly rubbish photos...I am sitting at my deska nd doing this quickly.
If you hold the phone like this you get rubbish pics with the flash (note my finger is not over any sensor)
If you do not obstruct the front at all the pics are great
again excuse the pic quality.

@AK
If you or anyone else can try it and confirm wether or not this happens to you also, that would be great.
Try a slight bit of pressure on the bottom left hand corner of the glass screen and also the top right hand corner. If you do it with a dark background this is where it is more noticable, media screen for example.

Will do! If me or no one else has this problem, I hope you can get a new one.

@Nebbs
I've just tried the pressure test on my phone and if pressed quite forcefully it does send "pressed LCD" like ripples across the screen a little. I don't imagine that I would ever normally use the amount of pressure needed to cause this though, so I wouldn't worry about it. However, if anyone thinks that it is a sign of a greater problem then please share your concerns...

Does not happen on my phone...well certainly not easily.
