Noob in distress, here!

Hey, I've purchased credits and I want to debrand my unlocked Rogers k850i blue phone.

Are there any tips on the process?
Any tips on which firmware I should flash?

ok, i've got a vodafone k850 bought about 4 months back and after reading this thread i'm really tempted to debrand this thing. i just wanted to know if anyone encountered any problems during the process or whatever, really dont wanna take any risks. also, if anything goes wrong with the phone during the flashing or afterwards, can i still take it back to vodafone and tell them it's in the guarantee period??

decided to go for it...
flashing successful, no more ugly vodafone icons and marble madness is there (hopefully working, havnt tried yet)
now updating via SEUS

being on the 3 network..i don wanna flash my phone as it will stop alot of services from working...is there any other way of removing unwanted locked applications and games (as many of them u need to pay to play..and are just a waste of space)...and editing the softkey shortcuts (i dont like having planet3 and launcher as my shortcuts at the moment)

I'm a bit of a nooB. I've flashed phones before but only my 2 previous phones.. I've never unlocked a phone before. I've gone through the first step of unlocking using davinci's software. If I have the wrong USB drivers installed am I gonna screw up my phone by proceeding with step 2? Windows installed drivers automatically on my phone but I'm not sure if they are the right ones.. I'm posted a few times about this but nobody has any answers yet.. And davinci didn't answer their phone all day and haven't replied to my emails.

Anybody have any ideas? Thank you in advance.

i m not sure...but they may be the drivers that you get when u try to update your phone with SEUS....coz when u run that software....it asks to switch off the phone and remove and replace the battery and press C button while connecting it to the usb...this makes it install some additional drivers the first time!!!!

i reckon if u don't have the right drivers u just wont be able to flash ur phone at all!
