I agree, nothing substitutes a live experience, but picture comparison side by side would obviously give us a fair idea qualitatively speaking

the problem is, that its almost impossible to show the same result with pix... i tries ones to make some pix of my e60, but it didnt came out very well. so i made some screenshots instead, which reflects less or more how bright and clear the screen is.

do we really can judge phone with 16m colour screen without looking it spec?
U didnt know if NOKIA give a fake colour spec, it written 16m but the fact is just 262k colour, who know, LOL.

SE and SAMSUNG 262k mostly better than Nokia's, how ironic.

IMO taking screenshots is even less reliable in comparing display quality since we will not be looking directly through the screen itself which has to be done because there will be refraction and aberration to some degree and will ultimately affect viewing experience. Photo comparison is far from perfect but is the next best thing rather than having to buy both phones to see the difference. Screenshots may also contain variables, ie screenshot sw used etc. Photos may show lower quality but it clearly shows the difference between the displays

I kinda agree that 16M is no biggie. I have N95 8 and I often amazed how poor the same photo looks on its screen compare to S500. Yet many people brush off S500 completely.

shame on SE, up until this date, they have not yet to release any phone with 16M colors. I do understand and i see their screen have been improved a lot since K750, but it is just a shame that they have not yet implement more colors on it. Nokia has been using 16M color screen since last year.

if no one can spot the incredibly evident difference between 16m and 65k in that pic, then please, your eyes arnt probably even worthy of high end screens.
