Yeah i agree with you. 3mp is clearer. I experimented a few shots and its proven on my own account. Yup, its jpeg.

It could be that the jpeg algorithm is preset to a lower quality for the 5mp shots to reduce the file size, maybe one of our friends in the hacking/modding community will one day find a way to correct this...

Some great pics in here. Any chance of uploading a video taken at max resolution?

um someone in our esato community has told me its not possible to mod camera or acoustic drivers on uiq mobile phones..so i dont know it would be good if we could-so to fix the preset

maybe the 5mp is just out of focus?
compression problem should not be the case because the pictures posted are even compressed down themselves. its hard to determine the real quality of pics if it is not in full size.

G900 Pic, all 5mpx setting.
reality is that its best in perfect conditions (obviously i guess) and its not a cybershot phone, so imaging software isn't as flexible, but it's still not too bad.i printed some 5mpx photo's at a photoshop, and the quality isn't much better than a k800, which is a little bit disappointing.but might try printing off some pix shot in better conditions.

Here's three more shots of the same scenery each taken with the G900, the K850 and the N78 respectively. They were not taken on the same day but still, in all of them, it was a relatively sunny, midday scene.

Guys, I'm thinking on buying this phone. I'm just dealing with a few things. What is the shutter speed? How long does last for a picture to be focussed and then shot?
Could somebody please take some pictures in night setting (with flash). Not from buildings or something, but from objects.
Thanks a lot!
