I agree with perfect the picture quality of the N86 dosen't impress me at all i think is still behind c905,renoir, and innov 8
but we have to wait till the final product will be released

Mmmm you would think the time its taken Nokia to bring out an 8 mega pixel phone it would have taken the time to get it right.

What don't you get about the phone still being in its prototype stages? Image quality will change by the time it gets to the final production stage.

Sorry i will add to that. I do love Nokia phones i had many. Just dont understand no proper flash for an 8 mega pixel phone. Nokia make great phones and great picture quality and make mistakes like SE. But they should have put proper flash. I must admit after seeing the white one it looks smarter. Nokia do tend to release phones and good phones more often the SE and more so on time. I love both SE and Nokia but SE need to be a little quicker on releases and quality control.

Perfect.....N86 will wipe the floor with c905 and Renoir because of its superior wide angle lens, it have a variable aperture ranging from f2.4 - f4.8 and can inhale more light then a ordinary f2/8 lens.....(which first of all means much better lowlight quality, etc).
havnt seen many indoor like this...thats for sure. (still, my heart beats for Sonyericsson

I don’t think so, in this “indoor” pic there is enough light if you look at the reflection of the sunlight, it’s nothing special IMO. Variable aperture and wide angle lens don’t mean nothing, i only judge what i can see.
Looking at these N86 pics i think that Renoir and Innov8 are better. Maybe with the final product something could change.
If we want to compare a Renoir’s pic in daylight:
100% crop:

well, Innov8 produce good pics,..but i think c905 is better then renoir.
besides, N86 will wipe all this phones especially indoor, lowlight (and thats what i talk about mostly...yes)...think Renoir and some other high end phones is quite bad lowlight or indoor.
proof:
N86 28mm lens...(can inhale more light and gives much better quality)
ordinary Nokia high end lens

I really like this phone and the upcoming N97, but I dont like anything else by Nokia.
I would buy this instead of a C905 or Samsung phone, but not instead of the LG Arena.
My network doesnt have the N86 though, so I didnt need to make any choice when going for the LG because there was nothing else that I like right now, and I dont think I could ever afford an N86 sim free either so went for the LG.
