are making a WP7 phone so that must be a prank or more likely, an annoyed customer.

I'm Nick...
I was wondering what happened to my post as well as the other ones. I guess it was a prank after all

I was talking to SE service guys, the upgrade is planned for may.
And one sentence made it unbelievable:
SE is not stopping it's commitment/cooperation with Microsoft.
They're partners, so a blogging person would not be first
to inform about such decisions...
This was a desicion you could see since SE announced that they will jump over to Android.
Seriously guys, having Windows in a smartphone is one of the
dumbest ideas EVER! Why can't people realize that more or less ALL windows versions are copletely bloated and require apbsolutely too much from it's hardware?? Especially in devices that run on batteries this is just a stupid idea..

I neede a phone with a good keyboard and great design. I have tested multiple devices, even other winmo:s, and I assumed that SE would have customized the X2 in a way that would hide the limitations winmo has...
And most important, I was hoping (and I'm still hoping) that i would be able to install Android would into this fine piece of phone at some point!

fair enough... well lets hope 6.5.3 solves many of the issues!
if only they used the same processor as Aspen, i mean, its only 600mhz, but a small jump is better than nothing!

You're spreading a very strange info here.
SE didn't announce "jumping over to Android"
They're actually supporting 3 platforms....
And they're Microsoft hardware partners.
Announced month ago or so.
The info would NOT appear as a blog post.
BTW I don't understand your problem with your WM.... At all.
Windows on phone is the best thing which ever happened on the smartphones.
WM 6.1 and 6.5 is the most functional OS.
Kicks ass of all those glossy Macs and fugly Androids - when they work
hard on bringing missing functionality,
WM has it all for YEARS!!!

You are right. What i meant was that I can read between the lines that it's most likely time to switch over to something else than Winmo...
Of course a manufacturer has to support their devices they have produced! I never thought that they would not. I justs can't find out any reason why SE would develop new phones with Windows in it, especially when they seem to require too much from the hardware...
I don't say that Android is the best solution for mobile phones. What i don't like in Android is that it's so much connected to Google...
It's anyway clear that Android, based on linux, is a great solution to mobile platforms. It's hardware-friendly by not requiring huge amounts of processor-power. As you probably have seen with the Iphony, it's really quick and that's too running on a Unix-based core. Running an underclocked processor ticking @600 Mhz, it's current performance is great! Again i have to stress, that i don't like the Iphony-phone at all. It looks ugly, it lacks a physical keyboard and it's locked to Apple.

I really wonder what is better in windows mobile compared to my former k800i? It's obvious that WinMo devices have tons of more functions than my old k800i, but in my opinion BASIC things like sound-profiles/settings etc. are really messed up in Windows Mobile. They're really crap..

Well, you seem to answer your question by yourself
yet you still ask?
Your words "it's obvious that WinMo devices have tons of more functions than my old k800i".
I don't buy a WinMo to have better sound profiles...
Or actually, what I have is ALOT even in this regard.
WM is and OS, where K800 for instance doesn't have it...
Mate, you can't even compare it.

You don't understand my point. A new phone should function with it's basic setup better than an older model. You can't glorify windows mobile just because you can install hundreds or even thousands of applications on it. The foundation has to be there; Patching it is not the solution! A mobile phone should have some basic functions, and even if they seem in your opinion ridiculous, i think that without them life with such device is just a PITA...
