Isn't N82 just an upgraded N73 with titanium casing, I don't get what N8 has to do with N82 because people came up with all sorts of complaints with that phone. Great... another fail phone added to the Satio vs N8 argument.

Upgraded N73 with titanium casing?
No.
N82 was one the best Camera phones in its time, and still is. It was very successful from the day it went on sale, even had quite a lot of SE fans here moving to Nokia due to N82.
What does N82 have to with N8? Well both are flagship Imaging devices, and it seems like N8 is the complete N82 replacement for those who loved their Nseries phones with a Xenon flash and great video.

The N82 was the best 5mp camphone during its day not now.
It's either you are blinded or trying to justify the phone because you own it.
The Motorola ZN5 beats the N82!!
The SE Elm does beat it too. Of course those came after the N82 but I'm pointing them out cause you claim no other phone NOW beats the N82's camera capabilities.
Anyway, I don't understand why people continue arguing that the Satio is equal to or still better than the N8. The N8 packs quite a punch and the Satio is bettered in a number of areas bar the processor. It was bound to happen, the Satio is old and the N8 is new.
Technology moves on and the newer products are likely to be better than the older ones.

ZN5? FTW? My sister owned both the N82 and the ZN5 before and after some comparisons, we realized that the N82 is better. The ZN5 has a faster processor. Yet, the UI is slow! And there are a lot of features N82 has that the ZN5 misses such as 3G, VGA recording, and stereo speakers.
But I do agree with you regarding the comparison of the Satio to N8.

Show me where I wrote that the ZN5 is better in anything but the CAMERA CAPABILITIES!

Apologies for the misunderstanding. Well, I can say that phones came after the N82 (including the ZN5, and the Elm) have warmer colours than the latter.

It's cool, man.
For me it's more about the details picked by the aforementioned Moto and SE. I agree the colours are somewhat warm.

I've been using a Satio for quite a long time now, and I can say, that it's a very nice for what I need. Of course it has issues, disadvantages, but to compare it with the N8, which will already have Symbian3, and a screen which is totally different (AMOLED, capacitive) is not quite fair, not to mention that it's not even in the market yet. I'm curious about the camera quality of the N8 though.
For me not to have replaceable battery (at least not by the user) is a huge problem.
The only problem with the Satio is the support and the SW bugs. The phone can be hacked in order to have Ovi Store and Ovi Maps, but personally I don't like to hack my phone.

well, my auntie will buy a Satio in a month or two. And she will definitely wait for the N8.
What I can say is the N8 is still on the whitepaper. And despite of its advances against the Satio, like the new OS; better screen, Satio is still the first. We can't tell, maybe the N8 is buggier than the Satio in the latter's time of release.

i didnt say no other phone can beat n82, i just said n82 beats se top 5mp phones and im not the only one who claims it,then why dont you search at internet and use almost all kinds of search engine n82 vs SE 5MP phones, they will give you the same result and not just 1 but many people "World Wide"

The reason why i include n82 here:
many people are disagree with N8 vs Satio because N8 is much latest compare to satio and they said its a mismatch but for me if Satio is a good phone like N82 that beats the latest SE 5MP you dont have to bothered about N8
about symbian ^3 nokia is good at making symbian phones compare to SE look what happened to Satio
so if N8 had a bug its not as many as Satio haha!
