Still stop by every now and again ... mostly just to see what type of images the newer phones are producing.

I still exist (although my original account was deleted years ago). So weird that this place is still here. And that I still visit once or twice a year!

Yes. It was far more interesting back when there were more OS's, lots of different form factors and different designs.

Still around.

Wow bluejacking mentioned in first post ... those were fun times.
Honestly ... my originally account (I think was Jagga maybe?) was close to 20yrs ago. Joined as soon as I got the T18z but lost my pw to sign in. a few months later again registered under a different name than I have now and that was when my son was 3yrs old and I really needed to have:

I working phone as I was hospitalized for 30 days (kind of),
needed email access.

There was a two critical threads here at that time that helped me heavily:
1> Some third party email host for POP3/IMAP4 email which worked natively on the T28W I upgraded to,
2> Some code to use on Ericsson networks in order to get free calls IN/OUT and SMS messages. Since my carrier at that time was pure GSM and only Ericsson infrastructure (towers, GGSN, etc) it worked perfectly! Ericsson had an internal test that their phones and engineers would use and somehow leaked on this very site. I would love to find that thread yet cannot for the life of me.

Update:
The first PM on this forum under my current account dates back to: Received 2004-06-11 07:53 with JChen.
Prior names where: diesel2, Prom1, Prometheus_1, and the original one I cannot recall (in that historical order from recent to older).

The last time I replied to this thread was in 2011. And a few days from now, it would be by 20th anniversary at Esato! Time flies!
