well, if I'm honest it compares well as a device. slick, smooth etc..., though there is still the occassional crash. The latest upgrade isn't available to me yet even though I have a sim free unit.
but... I still haven't found a reliable single way to sync all the content I use such as music, films, video podcasts etc as well as my contacts... and I don't want to sit there opening several software to achieve the same result.
Also, as much as the android marketplace has, I'm still finding it a bit boring compared with the itunes app store.
maybe its the way its presented with the exciting apps in your face in itunes but I'm just not excited by the marketplace except to go find the apps I already use on my iphone.
I'll use the internal memory for apps and the sd card for content only.
I won't be getting rid of the S2 in a hurry and I wonder if it will get the ice cream sandwich (

!) as its only a few months away!

Ice cream sandwich. Why do they use silly names for Android

The apps crashing is something perhaps Samsung are not aware of yet. Surely with that much ram & fast processor it should not be crashing?? I guess crashing is a part of early adopting a device.

That is a pain to have to do all of that syncing via different software. Google or each manufacturer needs to come up with an iTunes like model.

I can uderstand the theme that google uses for its o/s names, but they really should keep it to single words
ice cream sandwich is just having a laugh! (btw, its my kind of humour... I wanna work for google!)
I've read lots of comparisons of dual core phones available now or known about officially, and S2 comes out on top in every case, for example, take a look at the
Engadget comparison... even HTC's Sensation falls behind the S2 in many aspects... perhaps they should consider renaming it now

Well, what if they run out of names?? Is it going to goto Fruit Cake(they already had cup cake)

I recently decided to re-buy the original Galaxy S cos when I first had it there was too much lag & bugs. Now with 2.2 it's super fast & stable & Gingerbread is coming to it too soon.

Kies used to be annoyingly frustrating to use but it's easy now. Alot of people complain about Kies
